Blue Flag beach party Karmøy

Karmøy's chalk-white beaches with crystal blue sea invite you to great nature experiences and also commit to sustainable management. The two largest, Åkrasanden and Sandvesanden, are awarded the eco-label Blue Flag this year. Hurray!
Program for the day:
At 12 the blue flag is raised with pomp and splendor on Åkrasanden. Family activities are arranged in and around the scout house;
The Red Cross invites you to a kite workshop, you can grill stick bread over the Scouts' bonfire, enjoy café food and ice cream, build boats with Barnas Turlag and paddle Frilager's canoes with Friluftsrådet Vest. Åkrehamn Vekst facilitates sand castle competition. Awards at 2 pm, by Turbo himself, mayor and deputy mayor! New this year is that the party continues on Sandvesanden. The blue flag adorns the beach with an official opening and juggling show at 3 p.m. Raw Ocean Lodge dishes up wonderful food, DJ Berit plays, you can rumble with Karmøy climbing team, balance slack line (Rampline) and juggle with Flaks, or cheer on Rogaland's best sand volleyball players! Weather conditions allow, you can paddle kayaks (Skudeneshavn Kayak Club and Oppkoma) and SUP (Saltråk).
