Filmklubben - Drømmemannen

For Alma (Maren Eggert), the project is a mere formality. She doesn't need a perfect man in her life, she needs money. Love is reserved for connoisseurs and poets. She has tried it before and her full-time and consideration are part of the job. For Tom (Dan Stevens, known from the TV series Downton Abbey), on the other hand, the matter is completely different. All he wants and all he can, simply the meaning of his entire existence, is to satisfy Alma's needs.

Alma is caught in a three-week-long problem of explanation: Who is this mysterious and charming man who has appeared out of the blue in her life? After all, for the experiment to be valid, they have to get along and their conflicting feelings for each other lead to a series of bizarre and comical situations.

With Drømmemannen, Maria Schrader has created a moving and funny genre mix. We are taken to a well-known near-futuristic universe set in a completely new framework. Nothing less than a down-to-earth science-fiction fable.
