A good quote from the happy 60s and "the british invasion" came from the Rolling Stones' manager Andrew Loog Oldham: When the Beatles looked back, it wasn't the Rolling Stones they saw, but Herman's Hermits.

Herman's Hermits became one of the most successful groups worldwide in the 60s. From the beginning in Manchester, England, on 1 April 1964, the band has had over 23 hit singles, 10 hit albums, 3 major films and countless television series and concert tours all over the world - and as of today they have total record sales of over 75 million. Famous hit songs include No Milk Today, I'm into Something Good and Mrs Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter. Since 1971 and Peter Noone's departure to start a solo career in the entertainment industry, the group has only continued. Original member Barry (Bean) Whitwam has steered the band into a hard-working touring band, and they still average more than 200 concerts per year.

The tours take them to Germany, Belgium, Holland, Scandinavia, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand regularly, and of course in England, where they still enjoy great success..

The Golden Oldies still form a large part of their show - much to the delight of the fans, who can't resist singing along to Mr. Brown you've got a lovely daughter, Silhouettes, Dandy, Henry VIII and of course No milk today. And many, many more.

From the 60s, through the seventies, eighties, nineties and into the 21st century, Hermans Hermits is still "Into something good". In 2023, it will be ready for their 58th anniversary
