Jærdagen (the day event) is a two-day town market event with shopping, fairground, local and international food, entertainment and 60,000 happy faces in the middle of the small town of Bryne. As the days turn to nights, Jærdagen changes its entire character and transforms into Jærnåttå (the night event), one of the largest music festivals in western Norway.
You can move from venue to venue, without missing out on the main action. There are seats to relax and eat or snack from different food stands. Several famous Norwegian artists have previously performed at the festival; Nico & Vinz, Karpe Diem, Seigmen, Kaizers Orchestra, Kim Larsen, Admiral P, Dumdum Boys are among the headliners the latest years. The festival was first initiated in 1993 and is stronger now than ever due to the extensive voluntary effort by the many volunteers.
