Rørvikfloten is situated next to the intersection of the villages Viksdalen and Haukedalen as well as the ascent of Rørvikfjellet. Gaularfjellsvegen, which is a National Tourist route, also passes by here.

The locale used to be a convenience store, but changes have been made and Rørvikfloten is now a combined shop, kiosk and café in the summertime, and it is still run by the very same family today.

We can offer a selection of coffees, home baked goods, waffles, cakes, toast and panini, in addition to candy, soft drinks and ice cream. During the summer one can sit outside and have a meal while enjoying the beautiful view of lake Haukedalen. We have seating both inside and outside, and we also offer free Wi-Fi.

We also have a section in the shop with interior- and gift items, as well as yarn, locally produced handicrafts, magazines, souvenirs and fishing equipment. Fishing licenses and hiking maps can also be purchased. In addition, we also have a selection of groceries and household items.

Rørvikfloten is and wants to be a place where people can meet and socialize, and our wish is to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere for everyone who visits.

Our opening times are: Every day, including Sundays, in the following time period: 15th of June – 15th of August. During spring and fall we are open some Saturdays and Sundays. Follow our Facebook Page, where we regularly update.
