Jøsenfjorden is a side fjord next to Boknafjorden in the middle of Ryfylke in Rogaland. The fjord extends about 27 km from Hjelmeland/ Nesvik and in to Førrebotn. On both sides of the fjord there are mountains up to 700 meters.

A fjord cruise is a memorable experience where you can see mighty mountains, salmon and trout farms, remote farms and crofts and if you're very lucky you might be able to see eagles soar over the fjord. Jøsenfjorden has always been known for good fishing.

The fjord cruise goes all the way to Førrebotn. The place was key during the development of the Ulla-Førre power plant.

Today the place is uninhabited and it is not possible to reach Førre by car. Førrebotn is a special place. Close to Førre you experience the mountains circling around you.
