VÆRLANDET STORM WATCHING PACKAGE
Duration: 3 days - 2 night's accommodation Season: November - March Included: Guided storm watching hike, accommodation in double room, all meals and transportation from Bergen. Price: NOK 3855,-.
Day 1: Travel like the locals on the commuter service from Bergen to Askvoll. From here you board another ferry to Værlandet. Your host will meet you at the ferry quay and drive you to Værlandet Havhotell, where you can relax and enjoy a hot meal in your room.
Day 2: Breakfast is served in your room. Your local guide will meet you to set off on your storm watching hike! You`ll go to the best vantage point to see all you could possibly wish of the weather and enjoy a light meal at a local café-restaurant. In the evening, back at the hotel, you can enjoy a hot drink – and just being inside again!
Day 3: Breakfast is served in your room. A day at leisure to explore the islands, go for a walk, hire bikes, or sit back, relax and enjoy the views from the hotel. Your host will drive you to the ferry starting your journey back to Bergen.

ACCOMODATION
Værlandet Havhotell is a unique oceanfront hotel. You are invited to stay within modern architecture in an open landscape close to the sea. From your room you may rejoice in endless views of the horizon and the majestic cliff island Alden. A perfect base from where you can explore the beautiful archipelago Værlandet and Bulandet in your own time. The best place to do anything, or nothing.The reception is located at the grocery store Joker Værlandet at Værlandet harbour, a short stroll from the hotel rooms.
Værlandet Havhotell contains 14 bedrooms in eight units (six family rooms and two rooms for the physically challenged). Both buildings have striking views of sea and sky. Every room is unique in colour theme and interior. Key words are sea, nature, wildlife, geology, fauna, fisheries and history. The rooms are furnished with beds and furniture that will give you a comfortable stay at Værlandet. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette.
