After great success here, everything was in place for the set-up of Swan Lake in 2020, but due to the corona situation, the entire tour was unfortunately canceled.

A new visit is now planned in 2021! St Petersburg Ballet Theater takes all its dance stars in a spellbinding production of Swan Lake, starring prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova. Irina Kolesnikova has made the role of Odette-Odile her trademark, and she has interpreted it almost 1000 times on stages around the world.

The Swan Lake with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's immortal music was first staged in St. Petersburg in 1895, and is one of the most popular ballet productions in the world. With its unique "ballet blanc", the spectacular and dramatic ballroom dance scene, beautiful music and deeply moving history, this is the ballet that stands out above all others.

The Swan Lake tells the story of the young prince Siegfried who falls deeply in love with the Swan Princess Odette, a young woman who was transformed into a white swan by the evil wizard Rothbart. This is the story of true love that conquers everything.
