The Fjords Brewery Route combines exquisite craft beers and ciders with good local food, as well as fjord, mountain and coastal scenery!

The route features three breweries located in Florø, Flåm and Balestrand producing exquisite artisan beers and ciders. You can travel easily between the locations using Norled's reasonably priced FJORDCard, which gives you five days' unlimited travel by express boat.

Kinn Brewery / Vesle Kinn

Vesle Kinn can be found at the heart of Strandgata in Florø and is the test brewery and beer café for Kinn Brewery. The rear part of the premises contains the small brewery, where new recipes are tested. Kinn Brewery offers regular guided tours and beer tasting at Vesle Kinn in the summer, and year-round on request. Visitors can enter the brewery premises, and learn about the brewing process and the history of Kinn Brewery. Vesle Kinn Beer Café is open all year round

Ægir Brewery - Flåm

Ægir Bryggeri is a microbrewery in the beautiful Flåm district, at the head of the Sognefjord. Visit the Viking- style guildhall with its driftwood walls, dragon's head and 9 metre-high fireplace extending from floor to ceiling. Ægir Bryggeri is one of Norway's best-known microbreweries and has won many prizes for its beer.

Ciderhuset - Balestrand

Located in the idyllic village of Balestrand in Sogn, Ciderhuset is just a short walk from the quay and historic Kviknes Hotel. Apple cider, dessert wines and fruit shots are made here, using fruits from the garden and a large portion of passion!

You can travel as often as you like on Norled express boats in Sogn og Fjordane with the 5-day FJORDcard. The card may be purchased on board the boats or at the customer centre at the Strandkai Terminal in Bergen.
