The Zombies - alongside the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks - were part of the frontline of the "British Invasion" when a number of rock and pop bands from England became popular in the United States in the mid-60s. The band is behind immortal hits like "Time Of The Season", "She's Not There" and "Tell Her No" and the album classic "Odessey and Oracle" sits on an impressive number 100 on Rolling Stone's list of music history's best albums! The tour that brings this legendary group to Stavanger and Folken on 1 June is a celebration of the band's long awaited incorporation into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. The Zombies are today led by original members vocalist Colin Blunstone and keyboard player Rod Argent with Steve Rodford on drums, Tom Toomey on guitar and Søren Koch on bass. Rolling Stone has described The Zombies live as "absolutely triumphant" and a concert with the group takes the audience on a journey from the singles from the early 60s to the masterpiece "Odessey and Oracle" and on to post-Zombies favorites from the careers of Blunstone and Argent right up to new material. The Zombies is now in the studio to record the sequel to the 2015 album "Still Got That Hunger".
