There are lots of activities for children in Bergen! At Bergen Aquarium you can meet the sea lions Kim and Amy, the penguin Erna, the wolf fish Steinar and many other exciting animals. Take the Fløibanen funicular and meet the goats grazing on top of the mountain, and take a look at the crabs at the Fish Market back in the city centre. At VilVite science centre, you can feel the force of gravity cycling a 360-degree loop, explore the phenomenon hydroelectric power with waterwheels and water jets and make soap bubbles bigger than you! If it's too cold to go swimming outside, take a trip to the water park Vannkanten.
Bergen’s seven mountains are perfect for long and short walks for children and adults alike, and are easily accessible. Families with older children can take the Ulriken cable car and walk across the Vidden plateau all the way to Mount Fløyen! Take the Fløibanen funicular back down to the city centre or walk back down the winding Fløysvingene road.
Bergens syv fjell er godt egnet for store og små turer med de små og litt større, og er lett tilgjengelige. Familier med litt større barn kan ta Ulriksbanen og ta turen over Vidden, til Fløyen! Ta Fløibanen ned igjen til sentrum, eller gå ned de fine Fløysvingene.
