Direct – fast – reasonable: ferry routes offered by Fjord Line. Convenient travel to Norway by car or camper van on the Fjord Line ferries. Fjord Line offers four ferry routes from Hirtshals in Denmark.
Each of these daily routes to Stavanger and Bergen takes you directly to Fjord Norway. The daily 8 pm departure from Hirtshals brings you well-rested to Stavanger the next morning and Bergen in the afternoon.
The return from Bergen is on daily afternoon departures with an evening stopover in Stavanger and you can head for home the next morning after a good night’s sleep.
Travel on the luxury MS Stavangerfjord and MS Bergensfjord ferries between the western Norwegian coastal ports of Stavanger and Bergen. Daily between Stavanger and Bergen in only 5.5 hours and offering unique views. Travel time in both directions is roughly comparable to that of travelling by car. The luxury ferries gliding past mountains along the spectacular Norwegian coast en route to Bergen conjure up images of a Hurtigruten trip. The “HSC Fjord Cat” catamaran only takes 2 hours and 15 minutes and is the fastest crossing to Norway offered by Fjord Line. From April to September, this high-speed ferry commutes up to three times daily from the Danish port of Hirtshals and the Norwegian port of Kristiansand, making it a truly high-speed experience.
The portfolio offered by Fjord Line is rounded off by an inexpensive daily connection to Langesund – less than 2 hours from Oslo by car. Langesund is the gate to the Telemark region and its central location makes it an ideal starting point for your travels.
