About

The island Grip is one of the most popular attractions of Kristiansund. 14 km north of Kristiansund is the island that until 1964 was the smallest municipality in Norway. The island is currently without a permanent settlement, but the old buildings used as recreational buildings. Fishing was the reason for settlement of the time and already in the Middle Ages Grip was a known and important fishing village.

Join a 3-hour trip to Grip. The whole trip with transport to / from and stay and guiding the island takes about 3.5 hours. On the island, you get a guided tour that ends up in the very beautiful Stave Church of Grip.

The rest of the time you can walk around the colorful houses, visit cafe when it is open or just enjoy the fresh air and the lovely atmosphere.
There is daily boat from early June untill late August, in the high season; twice a day. You may also charter the boat for groups.
