Together we walk through the assembly rooms and cook houses and you have a unique opportunity to learn more about the life here 500 years ago!
Guided tours of Schøtstuene
You can learn more about Bergen as a trading city by taking the museum’s guided tour. Why did the Hanseatic merchants set up an office here? What was everyday life like at Bryggen? What was their significance for Bergen as a European trading hub? A historical walk in the footsteps of the Hanseatic merchants together with our guides will make your visit to the museum even more memorable.

Length: Approx. 40 minutes
The guided tour starts at Schøtstuene and continues through the narrow alleyways of the World Heritage Site Bryggen. The tour concludes at Midthuset, where you can explore the museum shop in the heart of Bryggen, There is a special guided tour for families at 14.00. The ticket includes a treasure hunt for children and they can take part in activities in the garden at Schøtstuene.
