Sightseeing tours, city walks, a fjord cruise or a combined roundtrip are perfect ways to discover Fjord Norway. On a fjord cruise and safari, you will have a ringside seat to Norway's most breathtaking scenery: majestic mountains that rise straight up from the fjords form the backdrop to fantastic scenic adventures.
If you prefer the urban life, take a guided city walk through the streets of Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund or Ålesund, to explore the architecture and discover the history of our unique cities.
There are many ferry services in the region, connecting islands with the mainland and crossing beautiful fjords. A trip on a car ferry is a perfect break from driving: a short, cheap mini cruise! Seats are available for foot passengers, but drivers may wish to make a booking if you are planning to take your car on one of the popular ferry crossings.
For those without a car, Fjord Norway has an excellent network of express boats, which transport you from the big cities to the innermost arms of the fjords and the outermost islands. Some tour companies sell "hop on, hop off" tickets which enable you to spend days exploring places en route.
