Adrenaline-filled activities

It is safe to say that Fjord Norway is the extreme sports region in Norway, with the extreme sports festival held at Voss every year. However, activities that increase your heart rate are found all over our region, from zipline to rafting, from tandem parachuting to the wind tunnel at Voss - or what about the toughest Via Ferrata route in Norway?

Rafting is available in many places - an easily accessible activity that satisfies the adventurous. It is an exciting and challenging experience, yet within a safe environment. Canoeing is another activity in the wet element, and in surroundings such as the spectacular Gudbrandsjuvet, who could wish for more?

At Voss you can get the feeling of flying - without a parachute! Norway's first wind tunnel simulates the free fall, perfect for some practice before trying tandem parachuting or maybe paragliding?

Norway's fastest zipline can be found in Bergen! On the highest of Bergen's seven mountains - Ulriken, you get fantastic views of the city as you hover at high speed above the ground. You will also get an airy experience on the Via Ferrata routes in the region: The «church wall» by the Åkrafjord is perhaps Norway's toughest Via Ferrata route. In Åndalsnes you have two adventurous routes - the Intro wall and the West wall, both of which will give you a challenge! In Tyssedal you can climb the water gates built by the navvies, and enjoy fantastic views. Or you can take the Via Ferrata route to Trolltunga for a trip off the beaten track to this top attraction.
