Tingvoll Økopark is a unique adventure park. The Eco park is the only one of its kind in Norway. Children and adults can learn about life in the earth, how the food is and how animals live. In the barn we there are five floors where you can travel from the top of the tree, down the roots and far into the soil layers.
Out you can get to know all our animals. Children are allowed to go inside the fence and both enjoy them and give them food. We have cows and calves, sheep and lambs, goats, pigs, chickens and hens and sometimes horses. Every day, children can join regular activities, such as picking eggs or feeding the pigs.
In the Solar and Bioenergy Center we have created stations where the children can come and produce electricity in different renewable ways.
A visit to Tingvoll Økopark is perfect for who want to learn more about a sustainable way of living or to get to know the animals and plants we need to survive.
Wondering what it's like to work on a farm? Every Saturday and Sunday all summer it is possible to join the farmer at work for a whole day (12-16).
