At the roundabout close to Åndalsnes, follow the sign to the centre of town. There is a car parking available at the starting point, or alternatively you can park at Rauma Cultural House, which is a five minute walk away.
Starting at the car park below Nebba and follow the marked trail to Nesaksla. The hike to Nebba is without stairs and with a handrail, which makes it easy for most people to get there.
From Nebba you can enjoy the wonderful view towards Åndalsnes. further up the trail you will see a building, where it is a good location to stop (in case of inclement weather) and gaze upon the tranquil scenery of Romsdalen and the mountains of Isterdalen. You can also see and experience the landscape all the way to Trollstigen.
Please note and use the handrails available on the hike where the trail can be slippery due to vegetation and roots. It is requested that you follow the handrail to avoid the path becoming wider.
At Andersmyra, which is a popular place to exercise, it may be the worthwhile to take a rest as the stairs will get steeper, as they follow the demanding terrain.
Finally at Rampestreken you will have panoramic views and the stairs continues further to the summit. There are small benches along the route ideal for taking small rests and eventually at the top you see a cottage constructed of stone.
The hike is rather steep and it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to arrive all the way to the top.
