Conversation with a Stone
Conversation with a Stone is a visual and sensory dance performance for children aged 3 to 6.
A dancer and a handful of stones invite the audience into a quiet and playful world, where the body, nature and the landscape communicate without words.
Inspired by Coastal Sámi culture and the landscape of Varanger, the performance uses stones as shoes, memories and companions to explore what it means to belong and how we can listen to the natural world around us.
After the performance, children are invited to continue the experience through play. Together, they build, balance and explore the stones, allowing the conversation to carry on.
A gentle and beautiful experience filled with dance, music and wonder.
