Together with Swedish pianist Filip Ekestubbe and Danish musicians Snorre Kirk on drums and Anders Fjeldsted on double bass, Amanda Ginsburg invites audiences to an evening filled with warmth, a touch of melancholy and plenty of humour.
The music is original, yet the musical landscape feels familiar. Amanda carries forward the legacy of some of Sweden’s most beloved singers and songwriters, following in the footsteps of Monica Zetterlund, who helped shape the genre in the 1960s, and artists such as Lisa Ekdahl and Bo Kaspers Orkester, who renewed interest in this style during the 1990s. Jazz, folk music, singer-songwriter traditions and pop elements blend together with elegance and charm.
Amanda Ginsburg has captivated audiences across Sweden and has won Sweden’s prestigious Grammis Awards for two of her three solo albums. She has also released two duo albums with Andy Fite, the most recent in spring 2026. Having toured extensively throughout Sweden, Denmark and Norway, Amanda will finally make her first appearance in Stavanger this September at Spor 5.
