In the exhibition "What is Around Us" we meet the artists Bodil Drange, Nicholas O'Leary and Sebastian Slotte, who each explore nature and our relationship with it in their own way.
Here, nature is shown in a new and slightly different light through three different perspectives. Bodil Drange is known for her delicate portraits of trees, filled with reflections on life. Nicholas O'Leary shows us the beautiful details in the landscape that we would otherwise miss in our search for obvious beauty. Sebastian Slotte paints abstract and colorful landscapes where he focuses on the psyche and the importance of nature for our inner self.
"What is around us" invites us to reflect on nature and what meaning it has for us as humans. The exhibition is also about our gaze. About how the landscape can be experienced and understood in different ways.
Through three unique artistic expressions and perspectives, the exhibition invites you to new ways of discovering and truly seeing what is around us.
Welcome
