Between the deciduous trees in Nygårdsparken lies something that could look like a giant nut, home to a miniature forest. Like a seed ready to germinate when spring returns, the forest trees in the nut are waiting to come to life.
Join kunstpilotene on nature discoveries and joint art creation in Nygårdsparken.
Equipped with magnifying glasses, we take a closer look at the park's nature. Up close, we can discover small and large events.
In the workshop, we are inspired by the park's ecological community and use facts and imagination.
Together, we create trees and small insects and animals for the "nut forest" in the art installation "Autumn".
"Autumn" is the art pilots' contribution during the art festival B-Open 2026.
About B-Open
B-open is an annual festival where professional artists in Bergen and the surrounding area open the doors to their studios.
During the weekend of September 19-20, you can visit artists with open studios, participate in guided tours, workshops and events, and get a unique insight into where and how the city's professional artists work on their art. All events during B-open are free and open to everyone.
