The Rieger organ from 1997 in Bergen Cathedral is one of the largest organs in Norway. The instrument conveys both sublime poetry and the full power of the organ symphony, all within a church acoustic distinguished by clarity.
Sigurd M. Øgaard is Cathedral Organist in Bergen. He has had a brilliant career as an organ soloist in Europe and in the United States, where he worked for 13 years.
