For many, the parade is the highlight of Pride, and an important day where our freedom and fight for rights are celebrated!
Pride parades are a political statement that both celebrates the diversity of society and the right to love who you love and be who you are. Since the Stonewall riots in 1969, considered the start of the modern queer rights movement, Pride parades have spread around the world, moving millions of people through thousands of cities worldwide today.
Parades create international unity, provide a sense of belonging, honor the history of the queer rights movement, and highlight the ongoing struggles in today’s society!

Meet up at Festningskaien towards Bontelabo.
Bryggen – mot Torget – Strandkaien - Østre muralmenningen - til venstre inn Strandgaten – Christian Michelsens gate – Markeveien - Veiten – Engen - Magnus Barfots gate - Øysteins gate - Sydnesplassen - Langes gate - Olaf Ryes vei - Parkveien - Nygårdsparken
The parade ends at Pride Park in Nygårdsparken.
