Tuesday 15 December Bigbang comes to Ole Bull Scene – an evening that promises genuine rock, warm songs and a band in top form. It is easy to forget that Bigbang is only three musicians. Yet the trio fills the room as if they were twice as many. Bass, drums and one guitar is rock's most demanding format – and Bigbang masters it to the full.
The current lineup of Øystein Greni, Olaf Olsen and Nikolai Hængsle is the constellation that has defined the band. With dynamics, musical joy and musicality they deliver concerts built on pure energy and tight interplay. Greni, the band's songwriter and frontman since the start, stands firmly at the centre, together with two of the country's most sought-after musicians.
With the album Le Californie (2023) Bigbang has further cemented their strong live position, and reviews in recent years have been among the band's best ever. This concert is part of the concert series Bergen Live Sessions.
