BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR – LAUGHTER, MUSIC AND A TOUCH OF GRACE
Two of Norway’s best-loved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humour and musical quality, they invite audiences to an evening filled with laughter, wonder and reflection.
Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. They have joked and fooled around together on Radioresepsjonen, and Bjørn has appeared in Bjarte’s TV series Presten, where he played a slightly drunken version of himself.
Now they are bringing together their wit, energy and the little wisdom they possess in a joint show. There will be jokes and satire, but they will also attempt to reflect on both small and big questions. Wonder is something they are good at. Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it feels like to fall short. They are both tough and sensitive, and, above all, good at passing merciless judgement on themselves. At the same time, they are searching for grace – for someone who can accept them just as they are.
Audiences can expect a show filled with laughter, music and reflection. Eidsvåg’s excellent band will provide the musical depth, while Tjøstheim will also contribute his rhythmic talents. Whether the evening will be uplifting and soul-stirring remains to be seen. But it certainly won’t be boring – the show is far too short for that.

NB: Row 7 in the gallery has extra-high chairs and is not suitable for audience members with frail legs, as the chairs are very high.
