BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR – LAUGHTER, MUSIC, AND A TOUCH OF GRACE
Two of Norway’s most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humor, and musical quality, they invite the audience to an evening filled with laughter, wonder, and reflection.
Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. They have joked and teased together on Radioresepsjonen, and Bjørn has appeared on Bjarte’s TV series Presten, where he played a slightly inebriated version of himself.
Now they unite their energy, wit, and the little wisdom they have in a shared performance. There will be jokes and playful banter, but they will also attempt to reflect on both small and large questions—wonder is something they excel at. Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it’s like to fall short. They are both tough and tender, and above all, skilled at passing merciless judgments on themselves. At the same time, they are in search of grace, of someone who can accept them as they are.
The audience can expect a show full of laughter, music, and reflection. Eidsvåg’s excellent band will provide musical weight, and Tjøstheim will contribute his rhythmic skills as well. Whether it will be uplifting and soul-stirring remains to be seen. One thing is certain: it will definitely not be boring, as the performance is far too short for that.
