Welcome to the Blister Pearl Release Concert with Friends!
Blister Pearl are a young, eclectic, beat-driven quartet performing compositions by saxophonist Åsne Fossmark. With melodic saxophone playing, dreamy synth sounds and a distinct drum- and bass-driven pulse at their core, the band draws inspiration from jazz, hip hop, electronica and Berlin’s underground scene. The result sounds like hypnotic neon clouds, carrying you somewhere you never knew you needed to go.
The band is a stellar line-up of young and exciting musicians, who can also be heard with acts including Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Veslemøy Narvesen, Giuseppe Martini, MadMax and When I Return.
In October, Blister Pearl will release their debut album, Ghost Dog, on Pluritone Records. Come and celebrate the album release with us!
