Blister Pearl is a young, eclectic and beat-based quartet that plays compositions by saxophonist Åsne Fossmark. With melodic saxophone playing, dreamy synth sounds and a clear drums and bass-driven pulse as a foundation, the band draws inspiration from jazz, hip hop, electronica and the underground scene in Berlin. The result is hypnotic neon clouds that carry you away to where you did not know you needed to be.
The band is a stellar lineup of young, exciting musicians who can otherwise be heard with bands such as Trondheim Jazzorkester, Veslemøy Narvesen, Giuseppe Martini, MadMax and Sara Fjeldvær.
With "Blister Pearl med Venner" we have expanded the lineup with vocalist Amelia Gomez Snerte (Vårknipa, Sophie Tudor) and rap artist Ivar Christian Johansen (RAVI).
