Kristi Furubotn talks about her new book, *Glassmaneter*. Furubotn is an author, musician and specialist nurse. She writes with great insight about Alva, an anaesthesia nurse who finds herself pondering many things when faced with serious illness. The novel is light and airy, with humorous undertones.
Central to the book is the philosophy of the Danish philosopher Knud Løgstrup: human beings belong together with other human beings. We influence one another, whether we want to or not.
