Stranger
Stranger is a novel about an adult son who has not finished exploring who his father was and how he became the man he was. A son who loved his father, but also feared him throughout his childhood, and most of all feared becoming like him.
It is about growing up in the shadow of mental illness. About wanting to break free and sail to the other side of the world, only to be pulled back to the challenges of the childhood home. How does one move forward when tied to those they love, yet longing to take distance?
