Zum Hauptinhalt

Brede Hangeland is one of Norway’s most prominent footballers of all time. As captain of the Norwegian national team, a Viking player and a long-serving Premier League player, he has experienced football at the very highest level. He is now the player liaison and part of the national team’s inner circle, where decisions are made, problems are solved and performance levels are shaped.

With no other ambition than to capture his impressions of the Football World Cup, he begins to keep a diary. For 47 consecutive days, he writes from his hotel bed, on the team bus and on flights between matches. There are highs and lows, everyday moments and major occasions, the work of the support staff behind the scenes, and players performing as we have never seen before. This is Norwegian sporting history told from 196 centimetres above the ground.

Welcome to an evening about the summer we simply cannot get over!

Join us for an evening of football and conversation with Brede Hangeland, with the opportunity to buy a signed copy of the book.
