For almost ten years, brenn. has been the definitive meeting point between Norwegian rock and pop.
Founders Edvard and Rémy, with their two very different personalities, have managed to create a band that appeals both broadly and narrowly. With their chaotic live shows and eclectic stage presence, they charmed the Norwegian music scene into submission when they debuted in 2019, winning the Spellemann Award for Rock that same year. Since then, they have become a natural fixture on club and festival stages across the country.
On Friday 25 September, they release their fourth album, “Alt jeg trodde var sant” (Everything I Thought Was True), and naturally embark on a suitably enormous Norwegian tour.
Since the last album, the duo have, in their own respective ways, quit their jobs to pursue music, developed anxiety, learnt to produce their own music, moved back into a shared house and grown up.
“Alt jeg trodde var sant” is described by the duo themselves as their most honest and funniest album to date, and is their first album to be entirely self-produced.
