After two critically acclaimed albums on Tompkins Square, Power signed with Fire Records and released the autobiographical and highly praised Head Above The Water in 2020. Here, she presented a matured and groundbreaking fusion of traditional folk and country.
On the 2021 EP Burning Your Light, Brigid interprets songs by Songs: Ohia, Aretha Franklin, and Patsy Cline. With great respect and sensitivity, she breathes new life into these classics—a clear tribute to the craft of songwriting she herself embodies.
