After many years of various solo projects, the three brothers from Pedersgata have recently prioritised working more closely together — much to their own delight, and not least that of the audience. Alf Terje, Stein Egil and Espen Hana have played together in many constellations, but are now united in a dedicated project featuring original material written by Alf Terje and Espen.
The brothers have spent several periods in the studio and continue to create new music. Two brand new songs will be released during the spring. The orchestra also has a large catalogue to draw from, including songs from the Wasaband catalogue and Espen Hana’s solo career, in addition to new material and a selection of “bonus tracks”.
The music is described as melodic, warm and narrative-driven, with roots in pop, rock, jazz and the singer-songwriter tradition.
