A wise man once said that if you want to avoid falling off your bike, you just have to keep pedalling – fast. This perfectly describes Dag Sørås’ career, who, after over 20 years as a stand-up comedian, still keeps an impressive pace.
“Schadenfreude” is roughly Dag’s seventh solo show, and the journey here has taken him from dingy bars and converted outhouses to the country’s largest cultural venues. The audience hasn’t just followed the Northern Norwegian along the way—they’ve grown significantly too.
As always, Dag delivers razor-sharp social critique and ruthless self-therapy, filtered through a solid dose of life experience. Schadenfreude is generously spread in all directions—a reminder of how awful and wonderfully awful life can be.
