Dancing the conga, also known as DTC among friends and fans (pretty much the same thing, says the band) is a three-person band that in recent years has established itself as one of the most promising acts on the Scandinavian music scene.
The band was in 2024 selected among 10 out of 1,000 applicants to the by:Larm festival, and was on that occasion also awarded the NOPA grant.
They have guested Berrum og Beyer, organised an off:larm breakfast conference on universal basic income, played their first concert in Gudmund's apartment with a bed as a stage and fathers in the merch booth, won the NOPA grant, been cover boys on Tidal's Best indie of the year, befriended Wet Leg, had a night to remember in Amsterdam with Whitney (ask us), released their debut album twice, smashed an apartment on film, run 372km in a week to play at Bergtattfestivalen.
