SLADE: Six decades of pure rock ’n’ roll!
Slade are undoubtedly one of Britain’s most exciting and unstoppable bands of all time. With their unique blend of perfect pop-rock, outrageous glamour and sheer joy in performing, they have captured hearts around the world.
With more than 23 Top 20 singles – including six legendary number ones such as Cum On Feel the Noize and Coz I Luv You – their music has defined generations and featured in countless adverts.
From their humble beginnings in 1966 and their glam-rock dominance in the 1970s, to a historic comeback at the Reading Festival in the 1980s, the band have demonstrated remarkable staying power. They paved the way for heavy rock, inspired American arena bands and enjoyed an incredible 30 years of chart success.
Today, founder and guitar icon Dave Hill continues to fly the flag. The band is led by founding member Dave Hill on lead guitar, alongside John Berry (who joined in 2003) on lead vocals, bass and violin. Russell Keefe provides lead vocals and keyboards, while Alex Bines is now behind the drums.
Dave Hill’s SLADE continue to tour around the world to packed venues – most recently with a hugely successful Christmas tour.
2026 marks an extraordinary milestone: Dave Hill turns 80! The band are more energetic than ever, and their concerts remain a dynamic, explosive and thoroughly entertaining rollercoaster of pure rock ’n’ roll.
