Dylan Dogs had their origins in the student scene in Bergen in spring 1994, and have played regularly since. The band has played at major and well-known concert venues and festivals throughout Norway, and abroad! Dylan Dogs released the CD "Deliverance" which received good reviews in the press.
Dylan Dogs plays Bob Dylan's music with love and respect – but in their own interpretations. Now they are going to play Christmas in. With several vocalists audiences get a varied concert with different approaches to Dylan's songs, alternating from the heavily rocked to the distinctively understated, from the narrative to the strongly melodic, which makes for an exciting concert.
Dylan Dogs consists of musicians from various Bergen bands and presents well-arranged songs, unusual personalities, skilled soloists, theatrical elements and a good portion of self-irony.

BOB DYLAN
Bob Dylan is one of rock history's - indeed all of popular music's - most prominent and influential artists. He is now 84 years old but is still touring. Perhaps he is the greatest living artist on the planet.
Many regard Bob Dylan as the father of the hippie generation, as a protest singer, as the voice of his generation, as the greatest rock star of all time. Dylan himself refuses to accept these labels. "I'm just a Song and Dance Man", he says.
Dylan has been an artist for 63 years, and is still productive and active. Over these years he has released a total of 49 original albums, as well as 15 albums in the Bootleg Series, several live albums and a number of compilation releases. He has also published several books and a number of films. In recent years he has also attracted great attention as a visual artist and iron/steel sculptor. He is the world's most award-winning musician, with the Nobel Prize in Literature, a number of Grammy Awards in the USA, including for "best vocalist", "best song", "best album", "best artist", "best gospel record", "Lifetime Achievement" and so on. Dylan has also won an Oscar for "best film music" and he is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Bob Dylan revolutionised popular music twice in the 1960s and again in the 1970s, and it is beyond any doubt that his art has influenced individuals and society throughout 6 decades. His lyrics are regarded by many as poetry, and his melodies we all hum along to. Who does not remember songs such as: "Blowin' in the Wind", "The Times They Are a-Changin'", "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", "Just Like a Woman", "Things Have Changed" and "Like a Rolling Stone". Even in recent years Dylan has released albums that have reached the top of the charts in Norway, the USA and a number of other countries – still just as relevant.
