The Christmas concert from Dust of Daylight Live is finally a reality. When the nights grow long and the cold sets in, something special happens to the usually well-dressed and serious indie folk quartet Silver Lining. As soon as December appears on the calendar, on go the Christmas sweaters, glitter, and the occasional silly headpiece – and they transform into: Silver Belles.
Silver Belles is a Christmas collaboration created by songwriters and musicians Stine Andreassen and Live Miranda Solberg. Each of them is known from The Northern Belle and Louien – both critically acclaimed and much-loved artists – and together they form Silver Lining with Bjørnar Ekse Brandseth and Halvor Falck Johansen. The quartet master countless strings, deliver goosebump-inducing harmonies, and treat the audience to a carefully curated selection of Christmas music.
Expect timeless classics, newer favorites, original songs, and four exceptionally talented musicians. Guaranteed Christmas spirit! Watch out for a few guest appearances as well. Silver Lining will release an EP of cover songs, Four Little Songs, in autumn 2025. Since their beginning, the band has loved interpreting others’ music in their concerts – something that also shines through with Silver Belles – and now they’ve actually recorded some of their biggest favorites.
