England Brooks, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, made Bodø her home more than 20 years ago. With her deep, soulful voice reminiscent of Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone, she has captivated audiences wherever she performs – whether at jazz clubs, concert halls, or on NRK’s Beat for Beat. Everywhere she sings, she leaves a powerful impression. When she appeared at S’n’S Jazzclub in spring 2024, she took us by storm and completely charmed the audience. Now we get to welcome back our Queen of Jazz on Valentine’s Day itself!
