Espen Lind rose to fame in the late 1990s with When Susannah Cries and has since become one of Norway’s most beloved and versatile artists. He has written international hits for artists including Beyoncé and Train, and has been behind some of Norway’s most successful releases as a songwriter and producer. In addition to his solo career, he has been part of the hugely successful Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes, Holm, and has served as a mentor on The Voice for many years.
In 2025, he composed the original music for NRK’s Rekviem for Selina, and in 2024 he played Pontius Pilatus in Jesus Christ Superstar at Folketeateret. Espen Lind is an ever-evolving artist, with a career that spans both intimate and global musical landscapes.
