The Oscar-winning film ‘Another Round’ from 2021 becomes theatre at Humorhuset Stavangeren
This autumn's big production at Humorhuset Stavanger is the stage version of the Oscar-winning film ‘Another Round’ from 2021. The star-studded cast will take to the stage at Stavangeren: Per Kjerstad, Ole Christoffer Ertvaag, Cato Skimten Storengen and Rudi Bjørknes Gundersen. They will bring celebration, colour and life to the well-known story: Four high school teachers are friends. They decide to test a theory that humans are born with half a per mille too little alcohol in their blood. The theory is that alcohol in the blood opens up the personality to the outside world and increases creativity. The result is remarkable. Both teaching and results improve, and the friends begin to feel truly alive again. As the alcohol flows, the experiment develops positively for some – and goes completely off the rails for others.
