Stageway and All Things Live present: Falle til ro – A Christmas Concert with Eva Weel Skram
In recent years, Eva Weel Skram has created a cherished Christmas tradition with her atmospheric Christmas concerts. With a warm blend of her own songs and well‑known Christmas favourites, she invites the audience into a musical universe where both tradition and newer Christmas melodies can shine.
It has been nearly ten years since Eva released her first Christmas song, and since then several of her songs have found their way into the modern Norwegian Christmas canon. “Selmas Sang,” the theme song from the NRK series Snøfall, quickly became an audience favourite. Later came “Falle til ro,” written for the Netflix series Hjem til jul, which has also established itself as a new Christmas classic.
Eva has also distinguished herself as a remarkable interpreter of others’ songs. In her hands, songs like “Nå tennes tusen julelys” and “Romjulsdrøm” gain new life. The Christmas classic Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas has also been given a Norwegian version as “Tid med mjuke pakkar,” with new lyrics by Trygve Skaug.
Together with her musical companions, Eva Weel Skram creates a warm and intimate Christmas experience – filled with infectious humour, beautiful melodies and genuine Christmas spirit.
