KÅKÅ and Bjørn Kvalsvik Nicolaysen invite you to Ex.phil Democratia, a seminar series exploring the history and future of democracy.
Across 16 seminars, we follow democracy from its historical roots to our own time, shaped by authoritarian currents, technological change and declining trust.
The seminars are led by Bjørn Kvalsvik Nicolaysen, Professor Emeritus of Reading Studies at the University of Stavanger and an active participant in public debate.
Each seminar lasts 90 minutes and features an introductory lecture, a guest lecture, a discussion, and plenty of time for questions and dialogue with the audience.
