Fangst are back with their acclaimed album “3000” and are bringing their tour to Checkpoint on Saturday 16 January 2027.
The band have already given audiences a taste of “3000” with the singles “Samantha” and “Indigo”, both A-listed on P3 Musikk and praised by critics near and far.
Brimming with musical energy, stage presence and an impressive ability to connect with an audience, Fangst have built a remarkable catalogue in a short space of time. They are truly a band that needs to be experienced live. As the band themselves put it: “People who like music tend to dig Fangst!”
“3000” is the band’s third album – times a thousand! Fangst take on popular music on their own terms, making rock pop once again. It is a dynamic work that moves from delicate melodies to huge riffs.
The album was recorded live, with all the musicians playing together in the same room, at a former domestic science college in the far reaches of Østfold. The finishing touch comes in the form of Johannes Fjeldstad’s lyrics, filled with vivid images of urban life and blending the dark with the beautiful. These stories are brought to life through catchy melodies and dynamic interplay.
