September is a month of independence celebrations across Latin America, bringing Chilean and Mexican traditions together for one unforgettable night!
Urban Hands, Chilensk Forening i Stavanger and Folken present an evening filled with music, dancing, delicious food and Latin American culture.
The programme features a live concert with ChiPeCo, a Latin party with a DJ, a traditional Mexican dance performance, and authentic Chilean and Mexican food in a warm and festive atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
The celebration is open to people from Chile, Mexico, other Latin American countries, and anyone with an interest in Latin music and culture.
The event also marks the official launch of the autumn cultural season and the beginning of preparations for Latin American Week and the Day of the Dead Festival, taking place during the final week of October.
The festivities culminate on 31 October, when the year's biggest event – the Day of the Dead Street Market and Concert – takes over Folken Storsalen.
Friends, dancing shoes and plenty of energy are all welcome for a night of celebration!
