The screenings of Mongoland at Tou have been overwhelmingly popular!
Mongoland hardly needs an introduction, but we can give a brief overview for any newcomers. Arild Østin Ommundsen's low-budget film was groundbreaking for Stavanger as a film city when it was released in 2001. The cast, who were film students at the time, have since become some of Norway and the Nordic region's biggest names in acting. Mongoland is a warm and hilariously funny film and holds a special place in the hearts of those of us who come from this city.
