Dei nye kapellanane is a group that has been wound up several times but simply refuses to quit. The group plays popular music in Nynorsk. Their name comes from Hans E. Kinck's short story «Den nye kapellanen» (1897). Characteristic of Dei nye kapellanane's musical profile is the humorous combination of Nynorsk tradition and modern rock and popular music. Now they bring the newly converted ukulele player Finn Tokvam to the saloon at Lille Ole Bull.
