They’ve finally learnt to tie their dress-shoe laces, groom their beards, and polish their Christmas loafers — and are thus presentable enough for a post-holiday concert at Checkpoint Charlie! In addition to being artists in their own right, Oskar Nordbø and Edvard Borneo (better known as “Folk Brothers”) also perform on each other’s songs.
Inspired by heroes such as Simon & Garfunkel and Kings of Convenience, they combine guitar arrangements and multi-part vocal harmonies with strong storytelling and lyric focus. Take a breather and put down the rib-fat; the Folk Brothers will envelop the evening in a musical sauce.
